The Kimball Cubs basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles to 49 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cubs now have a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City for a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. Kimball will confront a Falcons team coming off a 82-70 league win over Madelia (Madelia, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Eden Valley-Watkins falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Albany (Albany, MN) to confront the Huskies in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 13-0. Albany won 89-44 in their recent non-league game against Pierz (Pierz, MN)
