In Friday's league contest, the host Wayzata Trojans basketball team scored a big 90-42 win over the Edina Hornets.
The Trojans (13-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN). The Royals come into the AAAA Section 6 bout with a 13-0 record. In their last bout, Hopkins crushed Edina (Edina, MN), 103-81, in a league bout.
With the loss, Edina falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 10-4. St. Michael-Albertville won 78-47 in their recent non-league bout against Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN)
