The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) and the host Edina Hornets (Edina, MN), observed Wayzata's basketball team overwhelm Edina by a margin of 95-70.
The Trojans (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN). The Royals come into the AAAA Section 6 challenge with a 20-1 record. In their last challenge, Hopkins trounced Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN), 96-57, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Edina will attempt to better on its 8-13 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 14-7 record after their 80-76 non-league win over Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN).
