Flour Bluff Hornets (Corpus Christi, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Miller Buccaneers (Corpus Christi, TX), 56-42 in a league match.

With the victory, Flour Bluff advances its record to 16-14 on the year. The Hornets travel to Ray (Corpus Christi, TX) to face the Texans in a 5A Region IV District 29 match on Tuesday, January 21. The Texans enter the match with a record of 20-8. Ray won 62-45 in their recent league match against Alice (Alice, TX)

The Buccaneers now own a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gregory-Portland for a 5A Region IV District 29 match on Tuesday, January 21. Miller will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 100-61 league loss to Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 25-6.
