In Friday's non-league contest, the host Four Winds/Minnewaukan Indians basketball team scored a big 70-35 triumph over the Valley City Hi-Liners.
The Indians (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kindred (Kindred, ND). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Kindred smashed Lisbon (Lisbon, ND), 68-27, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hi-Liners battle the Rugby Panthers (Rugby, ND) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Valley City will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 86-29 non-league loss to Devils Lake (Devils Lake, ND).
