The Paynesville Bulldogs basketball team scored 82 points and limited the host Maple Lake Irish to 28 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now have a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa for a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. Paynesville will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 44-38 non-league loss to Upsala (Upsala, MN). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-12.

With the loss, Maple Lake falls to 0-13 on the campaign. The Irish host St. John's Prep (Collegeville, MN) to confront the Johnnies in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Johnnies go into the game with a record of 0-7. St. John's Prep lost 89-63 in their recent non-league game against Browerville (Browerville, MN)
