In Friday's league test, the Mascoma Royals (Canaan, NH) basketball squad trounced the visiting Monadnock Huskies (East Swanzey, NH), by a score of 70-45.
Next, the Royals encounter the Newfound Regional Bears (Bristol, NH) in a Division III test, on Tuesday, January 21. Mascoma will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 6-4 record after their 83-72 league loss to Hillsboro-Deering (Hillsboro, NH).
The Huskies (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Stevens (Claremont, NH). The Cardinals come into the Division III test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Stevens was routed by Windsor (Windsor, VT), 46-27, in a non-league test.
