The Mascoma Royals overwhelmed the visiting Monadnock Huskies basketball team by a margin of 71-45 in Sunday's league contest.
The Royals (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH). The Bears go into the Division III contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Newfound Regional was trounced by Hillsboro-Deering (Hillsboro, NH), 83-72, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Huskies confront the Stevens Cardinals (Claremont, NH) in a Division III contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Monadnock will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 46-27 non-league loss to Windsor (Windsor, VT).
