Nevada High School Basketball - North Tahoe triumphant over Oasis Academy

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) and the host Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV), observed North Tahoe's basketball team overwhelm Oasis Academy by a score of 67-31.

The Lakers (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV). The Nighthawks come into the 2A Northern challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, Silver Stage was routed by Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV), 30-23, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bighorns encounter the Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV) in a 2A Northern challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Oasis Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 58-54 league win over Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV).
