California High School Basketball - Oasis Academy toppled by North Tahoe

January 28, 2025: Tahoe City, CA 96161

North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV), 59-48 in a league match.

With the victory, North Tahoe upgrades its record to 13-6 on the year. The Lakers host Pershing County (Lovelock, NV) to face the Mustangs in a 2A Northern match on Friday, January 31. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 11-13. Pershing County won 63-28 in their recent non-league match against Wells (Wells, NV)

The Bighorns now sport a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Incline for a 2A Northern match on Friday, January 31. Oasis Academy will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 59-25 league win over Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV). The Highlanders record now stands at 15-5.
