Maine High School Basketball - Woodland victorious over Penobscot Valley

In Friday's league contest, the host Woodland Dragons basketball team scored a good 61-41 triumph over the Penobscot Valley Howlers.
The Dragons (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME). The Lynx come into the C North challenge with a 12-0 record. In their last challenge, Mattanawcook prevailed over George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME), 65-59, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Howlers battle the Greenville Lakers (Greenville, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. Penobscot Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record.
