The Penobscot Valley Howlers basketball team scored 82 points and limited the visiting Woodland Dragons to 53 in the Howlers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Howlers now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Calais for a C North game on Friday, December 13. Penobscot Valley will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 66-48 league win over Narraguagus (Harrington, ME). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Woodland falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Dragons host Washington Academy (East Machias, ME) to confront the Raiders in a non-league game on Monday, December 16. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 1-1. Washington Academy lost 72-45 in their recent league game against Orono (Orono, ME)
