California High School Basketball - Torrey Pines nips Vista

January 17, 2025: Vista, CA 92084

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA) and the host Vista Panthers (Vista, CA), observed Torrey Pines's basketball team edge Vista by a score of 60-54.

The Falcons (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against El Camino (Oceanside, CA). The Wildcats come into the Freelance challenge with a 10-9 record. In their last challenge, El Camino edged Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA), 71-32, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA) in a Freelance challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. Vista will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 64-46 non-league win over Del Lago Academy (Escondido, CA).
