In Friday's league contest, the visiting McKinleyville Panthers basketball team scored a good 52-35 triumph over the Arcata Tigers.
The Panthers (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against St. Bernard's (Eureka, CA). The Crusaders go into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the Del Norte Warriors (Crescent City, CA) in a contest, on Friday, January 24. Arcata will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record.
