California High School Basketball - Arcata holds off McKinleyville

The Arcata Tigers basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting McKinleyville Panthers to 42 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Ukiah for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Arcata will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 44-39 non-league loss to Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, McKinleyville falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to St. Bernard's (Eureka, CA) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 2-1.
