Next, the Owls encounter the Poteet Aggies (Poteet, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 28 test, on Monday, January 20. Hondo will attempt to improve on its 21-5 season record. The Aggies come into the test with a 15-10 record after their 41-20 league loss to Lytle (Lytle, TX).

The Wolves (4-20) will now prepare for their test against Crystal City (Crystal City, TX). The Javelinas come into the 3A Region IV District 28 test with a 14-9 record. In their last test, Crystal City was routed by Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX), 76-65, in a league test.
