Next, the Owls encounter the Poteet Aggies (Poteet, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 28 test, on Tuesday, December 17. Hondo will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record. The Aggies come into the test with a 14-4 record after their 31-26 league win over Lytle (Lytle, TX).

The Wolves (3-13) will now prepare for their test against Crystal City (Crystal City, TX). The Javelinas come into the 3A Region IV District 28 test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Crystal City was routed by Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX), 53-47, in a league test.
