The Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME) basketball toppled the visiting Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME), 49-38 in Friday's league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Edward Little for a non-league bout on Monday, January 20. Mt. Ararat will play a Red Eddies team coming off a 48-34 non-league win over Westbrook (Westbrook, ME). The Red Eddies record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Gray-New Gloucester falls to 10-3 on the campaign. The Patriots host Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME) to play the Clippers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Clippers go into the bout with a record of 3-6.
