In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Mt. Ararat Eagles basketball team scored a good 52-37 triumph over the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots.
The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Marshwood (South Berwick, ME). The Hawks go into the A South contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Marshwood topped Westbrook (Westbrook, ME), 54-37, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Falmouth Navigators (Falmouth, ME) in a A South contest, on Friday, December 13. Gray-New Gloucester will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Navigators go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 37-35 non-league win over Noble (North Berwick, ME).
