The Southeast Pirates basketball team scored 35 points and limited the host Newton Falls Tigers to 26 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Ravenna for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18.
With the loss, Newton Falls falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Tigers host LaBrae (Leavittsburg, OH) to play the Vikings in a Mahoning Valley - Grey game on Monday, January 20. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 11-3. LaBrae won 51-17 in their recent league game against Garfield (Garrettsville, OH)
