In Monday's league contest, the host Southeast Pirates basketball team scored a big 48-23 triumph over the Newton Falls Tigers.
The Pirates (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Crestview (Columbiana, OH). The Rebels go into the Mahoning Valley - Grey contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Crestview smashed Boardman (Youngstown, OH), 60-43, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the LaBrae Vikings (Leavittsburg, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Grey contest, on Friday, December 13. Newton Falls will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 53-9 non-league win over Windham (Windham, OH).
