Vermont High School Basketball - St. Johnsbury Academy overwhelms Rice Memorial

The St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers basketball team scored 68 points and limited the host Rice Memorial Green Knights to 26 in the Hilltoppers league triumph on Friday.
The Hilltoppers now have a 8-0 record. They play next when they host Essex for a Metro game on Tuesday, January 21. St. Johnsbury Academy will confront a Hornets team coming off a 52-42 non-league win over South Burlington (South Burlington, VT). The Hornets record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Rice Memorial falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Green knights travel to Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT) to confront the Bobwhites/Comets in a Metro game on Tuesday, January 21. The Bobwhites/Comets go into the game with a record of 5-4.
