With the victory, Riverdale Academy advances its record to 22-5 on the year. The Rebels travel to Central School (Grand Cane, LA) to face the Pioneers in a MAIS 2A District 4 match on Monday, January 20. The Pioneers enter the match with a record of 7-13. Central School won 37-6 in their recent non-league match against Northeast Baptist (West Monroe, LA)

The Lions now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Briarfield Academy for a MAIS 2A District 4 match on Tuesday, January 21. Union Christian Academy will face a Rebels squad coming off a 43-37 league win over Claiborne Academy (Haynesville, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 14-2.
