The Riverdale Academy Rebels basketball team scored 72 points and limited the host Union Christian Academy Lions to 22 in the Rebels league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rebels now possess a 26-5 record. They play next when they travel to Claiborne Academy for a MAIS 2A District 4 game on Friday, January 31. Riverdale Academy will confront a Rebels team coming off a 21-2 league win over Central School (Grand Cane, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 12-13.

With the loss, Union Christian Academy falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Northeast Baptist (West Monroe, LA) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Friday, January 31. The Knights go into the game with a record of 0-4. Northeast Baptist lost 31-18 in their recent non-league match against Central School (Grand Cane, LA)
