Washington High School Basketball - University Prep knocks off South Whidbey

In Friday's league contest, the host University Prep Pumas basketball team scored a good 49-40 win over the South Whidbey Falcons.
The Pumas (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bear Creek (Redmond, WA). The Grizzlies come into the 1A Emerald Sound contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Bear Creek defeated Granite Falls (Granite Falls, WA), 39-34, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Overlake Owls (Redmond, WA) in a 1A Emerald Sound contest, on Saturday, January 18. South Whidbey will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Owls come into the contest with a 0-10 record after their 38-27 non-league loss to Vashon Island (Vashon Island, WA).
