In Friday's league test, the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) basketball squad defeated the visiting South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC), by a score of 70-62.
Next, the Chargers clash with the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 21. Crest will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Mountaineers come into the test with a 7-4 record after their 65-60 non-league win over Forestview (Gastonia, NC).
The Red Raiders (7-7) will now prepare for their test against North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, North Gaston went down by Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC), 55-35, in a non-league test.
