In Tuesday's league test, the South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) basketball squad defeated the visiting Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC), by a final score of 70-60.
Next, the Red Raiders clash with the North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC) in a test, on Friday, February 14. South Point will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 8-11 record after their 56-51 non-league win over Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC).
The Chargers (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers come into the test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, Kings Mountain overcame Forestview (Gastonia, NC), 67-49, in a league test.
