The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the East Wake Warriors (Wendell, NC) and the visiting South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC), observed East Wake's basketball team knock off South Johnston by a score of 38-21.
The Warriors (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Spartans come into the challenge with a 2-8 record.
In their next game, the Trojans encounter the West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. South Johnston will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 53-33 non-league loss to Hunt (Wilson, NC).
