The East Wake Warriors basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host South Johnston Trojans to 43 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now have a 11-11 record. They play next when they host Smithfield-Selma for a game on Friday, February 14. East Wake will confront a Spartans team coming off a 48-45 league win over C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 5-14.

With the loss, South Johnston falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Trojans host West Johnston (Benson, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a game on Thursday, February 13. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 8-10. West Johnston lost 51-50 in their recent non-league game against Fike (Wilson, NC)
