In Friday's league contest, the host Southern Alamance Patriots basketball team scored a big 69-46 triumph over the Eastern Alamance Eagles.
The Patriots (12-0) will now prepare for their contest against Vance County (Henderson, NC). The Vipers go into the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Vance County smashed Durham School of the Arts (Durham, NC), 38-17, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Mount Zion Christian Academy Mighty Warriors (Durham, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Eastern Alamance will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record.
