Valley Heights Mustangs (Blue Rapids, KS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Troy Trojans (Troy, KS), 68-18 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Valley Heights upgrades its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Wetmore (Wetmore, KS) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, January 28. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 2-8. Wetmore lost 62-42 in their recent non-league bout against Clifton-Clyde (Clyde, KS)

Next up, the Trojans play the Frankfort Wildcats (Frankfort, KS) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 21. Troy will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 4-4 record after their 52-26 non-league loss to Hanover (Hanover, KS).
