The Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) basketball knocked off the host Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY), 61-53 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Port Jervis notched a victory over Monticello (Monticello, NY), 47-40, in a league test.

The Dragons now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Goshen Central for a Section 9 Orange County III test on Friday, January 20. Cornwall Central will encounter a Gladiators squad coming off a 60-28 league win over Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY). The Gladiators record now stands at 9-0.
