Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY), 60-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Beacon upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Haldane (Cold Spring, NY) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Haldane won 70-56 in their recent league bout against North Salem (North Salem, NY)

Next up, the Dragons play the Monticello Panthers (Monticello, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County III bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Cornwall Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record.
