The Everglades Prep Academy Panther (Homestead, FL) basketball crushed the host Somerset Academy Silver Palms Stallions (Miami, FL), 74-43 in Wednesday's league test.

The Panther (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Coral Shores (Tavernier, FL). The Hurricanes go into the 3A District 16 test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Coral Shores walloped MAST Academy (Key Biscayne, FL), 71-31, in a non-league test.

The Stallions now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Archbishop Carroll for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Somerset Academy Silver Palms will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 89-49 league loss to True North Classical Academy (Miami, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-10.
