The Pellston Hornets basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Forest Area Warriors to 47 in the Hornets league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hornets now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harbor Light Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Pellston will meet a Swordsmen team coming off a 61-45 non-league win over Maplewood Baptist Academy (Kinross, MI). The Swordsmen record now stands at 6-4.

The Warriors (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Mancelona (Mancelona, MI). The Ironmen enter the Ski-Valley contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Mancelona was routed by Onaway (Onaway, MI), 74-58, in a league contest.
