The Pellston Hornets basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Forest Area Warriors to 38 in the Hornets league triumph on Saturday.

The Hornets now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Lake for a Ski-Valley contest on Tuesday, February 28. Pellston will battle a Trojans team coming off a 55-46 league loss to St. Mary Cathedral (Gaylord, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 8-13.

The Warriors (0-16) will now prepare for their contest against Johannesburg-Lewiston (Johannesburg, MI). The Cardinals enter the Ski-Valley contest with a 1-16 record. In their last contest, Johannesburg-Lewiston was routed by St. Mary Cathedral (Gaylord, MI), 74-35, in a league contest.
