The Mission Hills Grizzlies basketball team (San Marcos, CA), dropped 69-57 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA)
The Mavericks now possess a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Torrey Pines for a Palomar battle on Friday, January 20. La Costa Canyon will confront a Falcons team coming off a 57-43 league win over El Camino (Oceanside, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 14-6.
The Grizzlies (11-9) will now prepare for their battle against San Marcos (San Marcos, CA). The Knights come into the Palomar battle with a 9-11 record. In their last battle, San Marcos dropped by Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA), 90-67, in a league battle.
