Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Westmont Hilltop crushes Somerset

Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Somerset Eagles (Somerset, PA), 100-69 in a league bout.

With the win, Westmont Hilltop upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA) to play the Lions in a Laurel Highlands bout on Friday, January 20. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Chestnut Ridge lost 72-39 in their recent league bout against Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA) in a Laurel Highlands bout, on Friday, January 20. Somerset will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 13-0 record after their 62-59 league win over Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA).
