North Carolina High School Basketball - Bartlett Yancey trounces River Mill

January 18, 2023: Graham, NC 27253

The Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers (Yanceyville, NC) basketball crushed the host River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC), 70-10 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Buccaneers (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC). The Hawks go into the 1A/2A Conference 14 test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Seaforth walloped Cummings (Burlington, NC), 55-12, in a league test.

The Jaguars now own a 0-14 record. They play next when they host Triangle Math & Science for a 1A Conference 13 test on Friday, January 20. River Mill will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 64-43 league loss to Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 10-4.
