The Jefferson Democrats (Portland, OR) basketball crushed the host Lincoln Cardinals (Portland, OR), 65-28 in Wednesday's league test.
The Democrats (8-6) will now prepare for their test against McDaniel (Portland, OR). The Mountain Lions go into the 6A Portland test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, McDaniel was trounced by Wells (Portland, OR), 55-24, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Benson Tech for a 6A Portland test on Thursday, January 26. Lincoln will encounter a Techmen squad coming off a 76-38 league win over Wells (Portland, OR). The Techmen record now stands at 5-8.
