The Jefferson Democrats (Portland, OR) basketball crushed the visiting Lincoln Cardinals (Portland, OR), 59-28 in Tuesday's league test.
The Democrats (13-8) will now prepare for their test against Roosevelt (Portland, OR). The Roughriders go into the 6A Portland test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, Roosevelt was trounced by Benson Tech (Portland, OR), 85-23, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Cleveland for a 6A Portland test on Friday, February 17. Lincoln will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 57-41 league win over Franklin (Portland, OR). The Warriors record now stands at 15-7.
