New Jersey High School Basketball - Secaucus crushes Rutherford

Secaucus Patriots (Secaucus, NJ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rutherford Bulldogs (Rutherford, NJ), 62-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Secaucus upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Patriots travel to Lyndhurst (Lyndhurst, NJ) to clash with the Golden Bears in a North Jersey - Liberty bout on Friday, January 20. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Lyndhurst won 54-20 in their recent league bout against Harrison (Harrison, NJ)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the North Arlington Vikings (North Arlington, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Rutherford will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 42-27 league win over Weehawken (Weehawken, NJ).
