New Jersey High School Basketball - Secaucus trounces Rutherford

The Secaucus Patriots (Secaucus, NJ) basketball crushed the host Rutherford Bulldogs (Rutherford, NJ), 48-23 in Saturday's league test.

The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Lyndhurst (Lyndhurst, NJ). The Golden Bears go into the North Jersey - Liberty test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Lyndhurst walloped Harrison (Harrison, NJ), 58-14, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to North Arlington for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 20. Rutherford will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 28-17 league win over Weehawken (Weehawken, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.
