Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Two Rivers Warriors (Mendota Heights, MN) and the visiting Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN), saw Two Rivers's basketball squad overcome Simley by a tally of 36-24.

With the victory, Two Rivers improves its record to 5-9 on the campaign.

Next up, the Spartans confront the South St. Paul Packers (South St. Paul, MN) in a AAA Section 3 challenge, on Friday, January 20. Simley will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Packers come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 45-36 non-league loss to Tartan (Oakdale, MN).
