In Friday's league match, the host Simley Spartans basketball team scored a tight 47-40 triumph over the Two Rivers Warriors.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Mahtomedi Zephyrs (Mahtomedi, MN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 21. Simley will attempt to move on its 4-21 season record. The Zephyrs enter the match with a 18-5 record after their 83-63 league win over Hastings (Hastings, MN).
With the defeat, Two Rivers moves to 6-17 on the year.
