The Providence Classical Christian Warriors basketball team (Oxford, GA), dropped 50-37 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Academe of the Oaks Firebirds (Decatur, GA)
The Firebirds now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host HALO for a GAPPS - I-A Region 2A battle on Thursday, January 25. Academe of the Oaks will battle a Wolfpack team coming off a 85-82 non-league win over Covington Academy (Covington, GA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 7-14.
The Warriors (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Peachtree Academy (Covington, GA). The Panthers come into the GAPPS - I-A Region 2B battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Peachtree Academy dropped by HALO (Bishop, GA), 54-53, in a non-league battle.
