The Broad Run Spartans basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting John Champe Knights to 52 in the Spartans league victory on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodgrove for a Catoctin contest on Tuesday, January 23. Broad Run will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 77-47 league win over Park View (Sterling, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 12-2.

The Knights (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Loudoun County (Leesburg, VA). The Captains come into the Catoctin contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Loudoun County prevailed over Dominion (Sterling, VA), 71-61, in a non-league contest.
