With the victory, Newman Central Catholic upgrades its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Stockton (Stockton, IL) to play the Blackhawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Blackhawks come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Stockton lost 63-43 in their recent league challenge against Scales Mound (Scales Mound, IL)
