The Irvington Blue Knights basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Caldwell Chiefs to 47 in the Blue Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Blue Knights now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Brunswick for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Irvington will battle a North Brunswick Raiders team coming off a 72-39 non-league loss to Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ). The North Brunswick Raiders record now stands at 8-5.
The Chiefs (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, NJ). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Seton Hall Prep was nudged by East Orange Campus (East Orange, NJ), 46-39, in a league contest.
