Alaska High School Basketball - Chevak topped by Scammon Bay

The Scammon Bay Eagles basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the host Chevak Comets to 64 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hooper Bay for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. Scammon Bay will battle a Warriors team coming off a 82-55 non-league win over Tikigaq (Point Hope, AK). The Warriors record now stands at 6-1.

The Comets (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Scammon Bay (Scammon Bay, AK). The Eagles come into the non-league bout with a 9-3 record. In their last bout, Scammon Bay was knocked off by Hooper Bay (Hooper Bay, AK), 68-49, in a non-league bout.
